Grin and Bear It 5K/10K
On behalf of Delhi Hospital, we’re excited to share that registration is now open for the Grin & Bear It Race happening on Saturday, October 18th at Poverty Point Reservoir State Park. Attached is the sponsor packet, event flyer, the race registration form, and the t-shirt order form as well as some information on Project Pink & its impact.
This year, in addition to our traditional 5K, 10K, and Kid’s ½ Mile Fun Run, we’re introducing a Half Marathon for anyone ready for the extra challenge. No matter the distance, the event is all about coming together as a community for a cause that touches many lives.
Proceeds from the race will go to Project Pink, which provides no-cost mammograms & breast cancer screenings to uninsured and underinsured patients. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it’s the perfect time to rally around this effort. Together, we can help ensure that early detection remains accessible to everyone. And as we know, Early Detection Saves Lives.
We’d love your help in spreading the word. Sharing a flyer, mentioning the race to your employees or customers, or simply encouraging a few friends to sign up goes a long way in making this event a success.
